OUL: legal procedures platform

OUL: legal procedures platform

May 1, 2022

Early professional project built with Next.js and Firebase for legal procedures, complex forms, authentication and PDF generation.

OUL was one of the first projects where I felt I was no longer only practicing development, but working on a real product with real responsibilities. I joined it during my technical internship at YGU, after entering the company through a curious path that started closer to design and quickly moved into programming.

The platform required many forms, user authentication, Firebase integration, document storage and PDF generation with formal headers, footers and watermarks. It was demanding because I had to bring cleaner structure, reusable components and better development habits into a codebase that was still finding its shape.

For my portfolio, OUL represents the beginning of my professional development path: the moment where React, Next.js, Firebase, backend work, authentication and sensitive data stopped being course topics and became a real system I had to deliver.
