Tradeco Costa Rica

The first professional Astro project I built at YGU, marking the shift from Gatsby to Astro and Tailwind CSS.
Tradeco Costa Rica marked a before and after in my professional workflow. It was the first production project where I chose Astro and Tailwind CSS as the new base for YGU websites.
I moved away from Gatsby because it felt slow and heavy for the kind of sites we were building. Astro gave me the performance, simplicity and static-first approach I wanted, while Tailwind replaced the older styling tools I had been using.
The part I am most proud of is the catalog experience. I used View Transitions and scroll preservation to make different static pages feel like a single interactive component. That project became the technical foundation for many later sites.
