CSS, video games, and AI: the idea behind my thesis

How I built an educational CSS video game prototype with Godot, web technologies, and AI-assisted feedback.


My master’s thesis focused on the development of an educational video game for learning CSS, with AI-assisted code evaluation.

The prototype combines Godot, web technologies, a Node.js/Express backend, Wallace CSS, and language models to provide contextual feedback through an assistant called Hemis.

The project was evaluated with 50 Computer Systems Engineering students. The average score improved from 5.84 in the pretest to 8.12 in the posttest, and the SUS usability score reached 81.4 points.
